Happy Halloween!!

Good Morning and Happy Halloween!
What better way to celebrate Halloween than with winter cards!! Teehee
I FINALLY got the new Label One dies from Spellbinders. Gosh, that was such a looonnnngggg
wait. Anywho, I just had to dive in. I REALLY need to learn how to take better pics of cards because the blue does match IRL on these cards however, it just does not show up on camera.
I got out the Rustic Snowflakes from PTI and the Indian Corn Blue from CTMH and made a couple of winter cards. The first one is matted on Shimmery Silver PTI. I stamped onto that too awesome White cs then cut out the 2nd smallest label. The ribbon used is PTI Shimmery Silver and retired SU French Blue amazingly it matches the ICB exactly! The second card I think is my fav. I cut a large label out of glossy cs, stamped Rustic Snowflakes in versamark, embossed with clear ep, then sponged ICB over it with the nesti as a stencil to leave an edge. The glittery ribbon I got at the end of Christmas last year at Hobby Lobby. I stamped snowflakes in White pigment ink (SU) then added some little silver Dew Drops. Both cards I embossed the word "snowflakes" in Silver ep. So that is my morning so far. I hope to get a chance to play more after I help dd class with there "Fall Party!" Have a Happy and SAFE Halloween!!!
Cheers!

Frilly Girly Card

EDIT: GO TITANS 31-21!!!

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!?!?!?!?
Whats goin' on this Monday Evening? In my world the Titans and Colts game! Woooohoooo
Go Titans. Well, if you do not enjoy football then I have a card to share with you! I made this card per request for a girl I work with, her DD, Janie is turning 7 this weekend. Janie's favorite
color is PINK! I got this layout from another card in Nov/Dec Paper Crafts Magazine made by
Melissa Phillips. I loved the softness of it and just had to duplicate. I admit that it may not be very young but it is still soft and delicate like this soon to be 7 year old. Anywho, I used PTI Vintage Cream cs and stamped PTI Polka Dot Basics in SU Cameo Coral. The pattern paper and stickers are from the SU Simply Scrappin kit. I stamped Janie (which you cannot see in the pic) with PTI Spring Moss then cut in little strips and had them peak out over the main image. The number 7 was stamped from CTMH Homestead Alphabet. The yummy fat grosgrain ribbon is PTI Spring Moss and the button and silver string is from my bottomless stash-o-goodies. I hope you enjoyed this card today also. Thanks so much for the visit. Hope to see you again soon!!!
Cheers!

October Papertrey Ink BlogHop

Hi there, thanks so much for checking out my project for this months bloghop in which we were

to create anything with polka dots. Fun stuff cause I loves me some polka dots!! Since I took a jewelry making class not too long ago I decided to make a polka dot snowflake necklace. I bought an inexpensive large charm and painted it green with pink polka dots. The polka dots were added with PTI Polka Dot Basic stamp (I do believe this is my favorite PTI stamp set that I have) I then stamped a snow flake from Rustic Snowflakes with white pigment ink as white paint did not give a good image. After that all dried I covered it in Mod Podge for a nice shiny coat. I used seed beads that matched the paint and faux pearls and silver spacer beads. Of course I needed a card to match just incase I decided to give this as a gift. This was a really fun project to create and my daughter was right there with me creating one of her own too. Thanks for looking I hope you enjoy all the other projects you can find on the PTI forum here.
Cheers!

New Baby Gift

Happy Sunday Everyone!
Thank you for venturing over to my side of cyber world. Today I am sharing a gift I made for a friend at work that is having a baby girl in December. Unfortunately only in the photo the pinks don't look like they match but, they do IRL. I used PTI Bitty Baby Blessings for the rabbit and the sentiment. The Silver Shimmer cs is also beautiful IRL but you cannot see the sheen in the pick. The pink is Sweet Blush by PTI as is the canister I wrapped PTI Sweet Blush ribbon around the card and the canister that holds a handmade baby bracelet. I am also making her baby shower invitations which I will post hopefully tomorrow. I used PTI Polka Dot Basics for the dots in the rabbit. That is it for today ladies. Hope you enjoy the rest of this beautiful sun shiny Sunday!

Double Take

Hey Everyone!
Do any of these images look familiar? The stamped images are from the Hostess Gift Set for the PTI Blog Hop. I took the bottles apart and used the stamped images for 4 different cards. So if the hostess that you gave them to is crafty at all she could do the same thing! Then use the bottles again for something else! Anywho. The pattern paper is PTI Holiday Vintage Prints. I added card stock from SU and CTMH. The card with stitches is CTMH Simple Stitches stamp set LOVE that set one of my all time favs!! Well, that is it for today. I had a super great Sunday as we visited with Baby Logan, ummmm love that boy. He is getting so big. 2 months old now!!

I've Been Tagged and a Card

Hi Ya!!!
Happy Friday!! I got some craftin' in today woohoo, already great start to the weekend. But first my cyber friend Beverly tagged me. I am to list 7 random facts about myself. I am not so interesting but here goes.
1. I first fell in love with my husband at a mere 19 years old (almost 20).......he was 34!! WOW!
We celebrate our 13 year anniversary in 1 1/2 weeks!
2. I have an insane obsession with chocolate.
3. I have never lived anywhere but Tennessee, I have lived in 9 homes all within 25 miles of Nashville
4. I did not go to collage!! WHAT!!!! I know, I regret it.
5. my feet grew 1/2 size while I was pregnant and never went back to normal size.
6. I get VERY nauseous in the car reading, fumbling with the radio, looking in my purse etc. It drives my husband insane. It makes me a terrible navigator!
7. I am a 35 year old grandmother!!!! (my wonderful step son and his wife have a 2 month old)
and I love every single bit of it!
Are you still with me??? Have you fallen asleep yet??
Now, the card I stamped this image from my friend Gina's stamps. He is just the cutest thing. Also, I got this card layout from a book I borrowed from Gina, Card Confidence from CTMH. I used Enchanted Paper Pack from CTMH and buttons from Walmart. I colored Riley with Prisma markers. Well, that is it for today! Have a super weekend!
Cheers!

I did not have a stamp that said what I wanted it to say! WHAT???!!! With all the stamps I have?? SO...I used the font Fountain Pen also from CTMH I covered the chip board with CTMH red glitter. This is a super simple card and I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for coming by today. Sorry I have not posted in a few days. True Friend

HELLOOOOOOO!
Hope you are doing great this Monday. I wanted to share another card I made for WCMD. I personally love this one. I love glittery things. I started with the awesome PTI Kraft card stock
and stamped CTMH Orange with PTI Polka Dot Basics. Then I punched a Mega Punch Scallop
Circle from Marvy and traced the edge with glue and sprinkled CTMH hot pink glitter on it to make my sparkly border. The dots around it were made with my CTMH Orange marker. The sentiment was from two stamp sets, Friend from Women of Life and True from Wedding Day both PTI. The pink and orange felt came as a set in the $1.00 aisle at JoAnn with the bling already on it. It was actually a "floral felt banner" I just removed the string. Then that is pretty much it in a nutshell. This card makes me happy. I hope it will make the recipient happy also!
Thank you so much for the visit. Have a great tomorrow!
Cheers!

World Card Making Day/Weekend Results

Woooohoooo. Happy Sunday All,
What a great crafty weekend. I got a lot done. Friday night I went to my friend Gina's card workshop and completed these 8 cards. They are a set that will probably be given to dd teacher at Christmas. I used a paper/sticker kit from CTMH called Life Delights. Making cards from a complete kit like that really makes card making go quickly. I also used various card magazines to help me think of a layout quickly. Then yesterday I made 8 cards...well 7 completed and one half way. I just got pooped out and ran out of mojo on the last one. On this set I added a few stamps of different sentiments and faux stitching all CTMH even the hardware is CTMH. Be sure to check out lots of blogs there were a ton of blogging friends that was able to get in on WCMD. Hope you have a great week!!!
Cheers!

Another Scrap Page

Happy Friday Mornin'!!!!
I STILL have not made any cards. Yesterday I had to work on an accordion album someone at work desperately needed me to help her with. I am so hoping to just play around in the "happy place" this weekend. Anywho...in the meantime I have another page to share. This on is of me and hubby. My daughter took this pic of us at my dad's house on Fathers day. I used BasicGrey patterned paper. The "I think..." stamp I borrowed from Stephanie while at CNC (thanks sister!)
I used Fiskars Threading Water punch for the sides of the pic. The rubon letters and image on the pic are from Creative Imaginations Swatch Book Impress-Ons. I have to say sometimes they are not the easiest to use in that they just don't want to rub on to the project. I also used CTMH Red Sparkles and stickles through out the the flowers. They just don't show up very well in the pic. Well, this is all I have for now. Have a FANTASTIC Friday!!! Thanks so much for spending some time with me.
Cheers!
